On the 22nd of October 2019, Grade 6 students learnt about relay races in the Physical Education lesson. A relay race is a racing competition between teams. Team members take turns completing parts of the racecourse. Each member carries a baton when running and pass it on to the next runner.

Learning about relay races helps the students improve their teamwork. Before the race started, each team was asked to brainstorm strategies they would like to use. It was a good opportunity for every member to interact and come up with ideas. They also learnt about group-decision making.

After the race, Pak Heru, the PE teacher, asked each team to reflect on what went well and what aspects they needed to improve next time. They discussed about the importance of focus, good strategies and correct body posture to optimize their speed. Well done, Grade 6! You've learnt to cooperate with others and make group decisions.
