On November 16th, Grade 5 students had a second session with Bapak Randy Primasetya as the guest speaker, after the first one held the previous week. With great enthusiasm and curiosity, Grade 5 students listened to Pak Randy’s explanation about the Earth’s atmosphere. Using videos and simple experiments, Pak Randy talked about the layers in our atmosphere with its own characteristics and natural phenomena happening in the atmosphere. With participation from the students, Pak Randy held simple experiments about wind and how a tornado is formed.

It was a very engaging session with the purpose to help the students understand better about the changes in our Earth and its atmosphere. Inviting guest speakers is a good strategy to give the opportunity for the students to learn from the experts. Thank you very much, Pak Randy for the two meaningful sessions. We now understand the changes in our Earth so much better.
