We started our journey by train from Gambir Station, Jakarta to Tugu Station, Yogyakarta. "Live-in" is an annual programme held by Sekolah Pilar Indonesia to apply our prime values: to be independent, highly-principled and to appreciate diversity. We went to Karanggeneng Village in Sleman, Yogyakarta. From Tugu station, it took us about one hour to arrive there. We were so lucky to receive a very warm welcome from Karanggeneng villagers.  We were introduced by the Karangasri leaders to our host (“induk semang)’ families.  We had dinner together with them. After a short briefing, each of us was taken by the host to our house for the next week.
