Every year, Pilar Student Council (PSC) holds an event known as “Malam Prasidina” (Prom Night), to appreciate and celebrate the Grades 9 and 12’s graduation. This year's theme was Seize the Night: Paris. The PSC chose this theme because we wanted this night to be as memorable as the city of Paris. After all the preparation and hard work, we successfully made a night worth remembering! To create a Parisian vibe, we even made a 3-metre tall Eiffel Tower out of bamboo and covered it with cardboard and aluminum foil. Congratulations again, Grades 9 and 12! Wishing you success and beautiful years ahead!

Grade 2 students have explored the unit under the theme ‘How We Organize Ourselves’ with the central idea “People create organizations to solve problems and support human endeavour and enterprise”. In order to deepen their understanding and see this theme in real life, Grade 2 students visited RCTI News Programming office in MNC Plaza, Kebon Sirih Jakarta on Tuesday, 17th June 2014. They saw and learnt how people work together, how they solve problems and how they gain success by working together. The students visited every division there and saw what the people do there with the guidance from Bapak Geong, the manager of RCTI Reporting Redaction and Michael Tjandra, a famous and senior RCTI news anchor. After that, some students were also given an opportunity to practise being a news anchor in the RCTI news studio. The students were very enthusiastic and happy to have this excursion. What a priceless experience!
