On the 13th of March 2019, Grade 7 students started their three-day Singapore School Trip. On the first day, they visited the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) and had lunch at a local restaurant and interviewed the chef. They also had the opportunity to visit the Marina Barrage and Gardens by the Bay as well as observed the Orchard Road.

On the second day, they visited the Land Transport Authority (LTA) and rode the mass rapid transit (MRT) to learn more about the transportation system. They also visited the National Museum of Singapore and the National Library. They learnt about the history of Singapore, enjoyed reading at the library and found our more about internet safety.

The next day, they went to three places. The first destination was Singapore Discovery Center (SDC). In SDC, they learnt about how people use social media nowadays and watched a short film about how one dream can change the world. The short film was about people who worked as engineers and how they had brought positive changes to the environment. After that they had a bus tour around the military area. The second destination was a Minang restaurant called Sari Ratu. They went there for lunch before going to the airport. The last destination was the Changi Airport. They went to the check in section and observed the main facilities, and other special features.

The Singapore school trip has taught the students a lot of things, from being independent and open-minded, as well as respecting other people.
