On the 20th of February 2019, Junior and Senior High students had a session with a special guest speaker, Kak Mahendra Aji Pratama (Kak Indra). Kak Indra graduated from Sekolah Pilar Indonesia in 2013 and had recently graduated from Paramadina University, majoring in International Relations. On this occasion, Kak Indra explained about United Nations, an organization established to maintain international peace and security, develop friendly relations among nations, achieve international cooperation and be a centre for harmonizing the actions of nations. He explained the UN's purposes, main organs and other related issues.

He also explained about Model United Nations (MUN). MUN is an educational simulation in which students can learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations. Kak Indra shared his experience when participating in MUN, in which he was representing New Zealand. Among the many lessons he took from this experience was to be more open-minded, more specifically towards other countries' perspectives regarding world issues. Thank you very much Kak Indra. We learnt so much from this sharing session. We're looking forward to having you again next time.
