Grades 7 and 10 students of Sekolah Pilar Indonesia have just finished the orientation week yesterday. From the 17th until 20th July, they joined the activities prepared with the purpose to help the students feel comfortable in their new school environment. There were a lot of sessions they attended, such as the introduction to the learning styles, the 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens, Information and Communication Technology, as well as the goal setting session.

In this programme, the students also learnt about the anti-bullying campaign. The students shared what they know about bullying and made a commitment to stand up and take action to support anti-bullying campaign.

They were also introduced to the structure and programmes of the Pilar Student Council. It is expected that all the students actively support and join the programmes that will be carried out this academic year.

For the Senior High School students, there was a session in which they were introduced to the new curriculum that is going to be used in this academic year. In Grade 10, they are going to choose between two programmes, Science and Social Science. They received information about the changes taking place in the curriculum and the preparation needed.

In the last day of the orientation week, the students had a trekking activity outside the school. In groups, they worked together to finish all tasks. They also learnt to appreciate nature from this activity. Thank you very much to all parties who have supported the orientation week programme, especially to the Pilar Student Council.
